Bike Tour Experience 3 Countries in One Day
Explore the cultural and natural highlights of the triple border area between Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay during this full-day bike ride covering approximately 34 miles (55 km) starting from Foz do Iguaçu. The itinerary includes visits to the Salto Monday Falls, the Indigenous Reserve, and the La Aripuca Ecological Reserve.
Begin your journey with an early morning pick up at your accommodation in Foz do Iguaçu before heading towards Ciudad del Este in Paraguay. You will be crossing over the Puente de la Amistad bridge – one of the most trafficked bridges in all of Latin America - while exploring the vibrant atmosphere of its markets; exchanging currencies and sampling delicious Paraguayan cuisine along the way.
Continue onto the next destination which are the stunning yet lesser known Salto Lunes waterfalls located near the town of Porto Presidente Franco. Marvel at their breathtaking scenery then proceed onwards to another iconic site marking the meeting point of three countries—the Triborder Landmark here overlooking the convergence of two mighty river systems: the Iguazú River and the Paraná River.
Following these awe-inspiring sights we'll make our way back across the international borders once more taking a short boat trip out to Puerto Iguazú situated within Argentina. Here there’s time to visit both Argentinean landmarks plus indulge yourself shopping at the popular street vendors selling everything under the sun! Lunch today features authentic Asado Argentino.
